1. Have you ever felt like you were discredited just because of who you are, your gender, your race, your age, etc? What did you notice about that experience that stuck out?
2. Gaslighting gets a lot of attention today. Abramson argues it constitutes a specific type of epistemic injustice. Can you think of a time when Taylor Swift was clearly being gaslit? Does she sing about it ever?
3. Do you think sometimes folks overuse the term gaslighting, similar to how, say, narcissism is perhaps overused?
4. How are emotions weaponized against women and other marginalized persons?
